Description

The Product Marketing Manager will be a key member of the Product Marketing organization contributing to the success of the industry’s leading web analytics product, SiteCatalyst.This individual contributor will work in a fast-paced, energetic environment to drive the product marketing activities necessary for growing market share, revenue, and market awareness for this leading product. The Product Marketing Manager will also help research and identify new market opportunities, work with product management to influence product direction, develop sales collateral to enable effective selling and work with marketing execution teams on product launches and demand generation activities.

Reports to: Senior Director, Product Marketing

Qualifications

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop go-to-market collateral, ROI calculators, sales presentations, competitive intelligence information, and whitepapers to enable sales organization success with customers
  • Work with PR, AR, events teams on product launch related activities
  • Work with demand generation team to develop proper messaging for offers and review ideas to drive lead generation activity
  • Conduct competitive analysis and develop competitive positioning for the product line
  • Work with product management to influence the product management roadmap based on changing market dynamics and new opportunities

    Required Experience and Education:

  • 5-8 years of experience in product marketing or outbound marketing role within the software or SaaS (software as a service) industry
  • Clear understanding of the online marketing landscape: web analytics, online advertising, Web 2.0, search engine marketing, social networking, and more
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally across sales, marketing & product management organizations
  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering, with an MBA preferred
  • Strong analytical mindset, ability to draw business relevant inferences from data
  • Results-oriented approach, ability to take calculated risks
  • Ability to rapidly prioritize and react to changing market dynamics
  • Demonstrate upstanding character, leadership, consistent execution and commitment to customer satisfaction
