Position Description:
Purpose:
Are you a Registered Nurse that enjoys working with children and has strong infusion therapy skills? Do you enjoy teaching and making a difference in the lives of your patients?
We are looking for caring nurses that will evaluate and instruct patients and families in infusion therapy administration as well as deliver direct care as needed. Our wonderful nurses conduct initial nursing assessments and evaluations to qualify patients for appropriateness and safety of home infusion therapy along with any other needed specialized nursing care. You will train patients and/or their caregivers in all procedures and equipment. Developing and revising, when necessary, the patient’s plan of care with the patient, physician and family is also an important function of this position.
Qualifications:
If you are a RN, licensed in the state of Texas with a minimum of 2 years of homecare and infusion therapy experience with at least 1 year of pediatric experience along with demonstrated proficiency in IV insertion, vascular access devices, infusion pumps and are CPR certified, we would like to speak with you regarding this rewarding per diem opportunity.
This position also may have some on-call responsibility.
