Humboldt-Toiyabe (H-T) National Forest, in the Recreation, Engineering,
Lands, & Minerals (RELM) Staff. The incumbent is responsible for strategic
oversight and development of the Special Use Program. The position reports
to the RELM Staff Officer and has four primary responsibilities: (1)
Coordinates with the RELM Staff Officer and the Recreation Program Manager
in the planning, coordination, and development of the H-T Recreation and
Lands program, specifically special uses; (2) takes the lead in developing
forest polices, procedures, and provides field units with technical
assistance and training; (3) acts as the Special Use Team Leader providing
external coordination and overall development of the forest special use
program; and (4) provides coordination between the Forest and the Regional
Office Lands group.
