Description

The Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History and Culture seeks an experienced Director of Development to plan, direct, and manage all fund raising and instructional development programs conducted for the benefit of the Museum, and consistent with the mission of the institution. Responsibilities include the direction and management of the endowment campaign, annual fund, including membership, gifts, foundation and corporate grants, direct mail, special projects, grant writing and general contributions.

Requirements
|
|
Minimum BA (MA preferred) in communications, marketing, or closely related field. At least 7 years experience in development (campaign exp. preferred). Excellent planning and organizational skills, written and oral skills, and the ability to motivate others. Ability to effectively and professionally represent Museum to potential donors.
