Job Description / Required skills:


Organizational Development Analysts (ODAs) contributes to organizational effectiveness. They identify gaps and impacts resulting from efforts and develop solutions to prepare those who are affected.

 

The communications skill includes using analysis to develop and implement strategies that help efforts with their communications and potential change management needs through:

·         Communications planning and coordination

·         Consulting services

·         Creating presentations, memos, newsletters, articles, content for intranet sites, forum coordination, and message points for leadership

 

Specific Work Needs include:

·         Conducting needs analysis

·         Identifying needs and potential impacts

·         Formulating recommendations to meet needs identified

·         Developing communications strategy

·         Implementing communications strategy



The organizational change management skill includes identifying and assessing the potential impacts a change may have on the organization and the capacity of individuals to accept and prepare for change by:

·         Conducting audience, risk, and impact analyses

·         Evaluating current and future state(s)

·         Playing an active role in developing and implementing change management recommendations based on the above analyses

 

Specific Work Needs include:

·         Conducting needs analysis

·         Identifying needs and potential impacts

·         Formulating recommendations to meet needs identified

·         Developing strategy for implementing recommendation

·         Facilitating strategy implementation

·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
