Job Description

We have an excellent Accounting Clerk opportunity in the Ithaca, NY area. Our client seeks a strong Accounting Clerk to take on key responsibilities to include preparation of daily bank deposits, daily bank reconciliations for 5 departments. The Accounting Clerk will also perform accounts payable and accounts receivable functions in conjunction with the deposits. This is a fantastic position for someone looking to delve right in and make sense of the reconciliations and ensure that all the numbers are correct. There will also be some administrative duties to include some phone coverage as well general office duties.

The ideal candidate for this Accounting Clerk position will have at least 2+ years prior experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable responsibilities. You must also have experience performing reconciliations and utilizing MS Excel. Strong Data Entry skills are required. An Accounting degree is preferred, but not required.
