Controller
Job Location: Manhattan, KS
Job Description:
Florence Manufacturing, the leading manufacturer of postal specialty products located in Manhattan, KS, is seeking to fill a full time position for Controller.
- Oversight of general ledger accounting validating the integrity of the financial statements. Manage the publication of accurate reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual periods for review by senior management including financial statements and other reports.
- Support internal audit in management of SOX software and compliance.
- Coordinate the compiling of reports in fulfillment of financial regulatory requirements. Coordinate the compiling of reports related to Corporate Tax requirements.
- Establish and manage monthly forecasting process. Participate in annual budgeting process.
- Participate in business improvement teams and identify opportunities for improvement. Assist and provide information relating to budget vs. actual variances.
- Supervise Assistant Controller, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll.
