Full Job Description

SIGN-ON BONUS: $15,000 for nights/$10,000 for days
Job Summary

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Radiologic Technologist, where your expertise will directly contribute to patient care and diagnostic excellence. In this vital role, you will operate advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality radiographs that aid physicians in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Your keen attention to detail, technical proficiency, and compassionate approach will ensure a positive experience for every patient. This position offers an engaging environment where your skills make a meaningful difference in people's health journeys.

Duties

Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the exam
Operate various radiologic equipment, including X-ray machines, computed tomography (CT), and fluoroscopy systems, to capture precise images as ordered by physicians
Position patients correctly to obtain optimal images while adhering to safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient information, and imaging results in electronic health records
Follow strict safety standards to protect patients, staff, and yourself from unnecessary radiation exposure
Assist in the calibration and routine maintenance of imaging equipment to ensure peak performance and image quality
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to review images and determine if additional views or procedures are necessary

Skills

Proven proficiency in operating diagnostic imaging equipment such as X-ray, CT, or fluoroscopy systems
Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and radiologic positioning techniques
Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and provide compassionate patient care
Ability to follow detailed safety protocols related to radiation use and infection control
Attention to detail for capturing high-quality images that meet diagnostic standards
Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple cases simultaneously
Certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (e.g., ARRT certification or equivalent) is required; additional certifications in specialized imaging modalities are a plus
