Full Job Description

U.S. Citizenship Required

We are seeking a Mechanical/Thermal Simulation Engineer to support the design and development of advanced electromechanical products. This position focuses on thermal and structural finite element analysis (FEA) to optimize product performance, reliability, and manufacturability.

The ideal candidate will have experience performing thermal and mechanical simulations, validating analytical models through testing, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the product development process.

Responsibilities

Perform thermal and structural finite element analyses on electromechanical components and assemblies.
Develop, simplify, and validate CAD-based simulation models.
Analyze heat transfer, thermal management, structural performance, and mechanical stresses.
Correlate simulation results with laboratory and physical testing.
Partner with design engineers to improve product performance and reliability.
Support product development from concept through production.
Recommend design improvements based on engineering analysis.
Document simulation methodologies and present technical findings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
3+ years of experience performing thermal and structural FEA simulations.
Strong understanding of:
Heat Transfer
Structural Mechanics
Fluid Flow
Thermal Management
Experience using one or more of the following:
ANSYS Workbench
LS-DYNA
HyperMesh
Abaqus
COMSOL
Experience creating and validating CAD-based simulation models.
Experience comparing simulation results with physical testing.
