Inside Sales Representative

POSITION SUMMARY
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is the throughput engine of the ANS inside team and the entry point to the ANS sales career path. Working from our Rocklin office, the ISR processes inbound and assigned business for government and education clients: quoting, order processing, deal registration, and keeping deals moving for the account teams they support. This role serves SLED clients wherever ANS does business. Each ISR is aligned to an Account Manager and/or an Account Team and earns on the business they process in support of that alignment. It is the right seat for someone organized, fast, and accurate who wants to learn the IT reseller business from the ground up and grow into an Account Manager role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
▪ Process inbound and assigned business: build accurate, timely quotes, enter and track orders, and see transactions through to invoicing.
▪ Manage deal registrations and special pricing requests with OEM partners and distribution.
▪ Support the aligned Account Manager or Account Team on quoting, procurement paperwork, renewals processing, and order follow through.
▪ Make daily outbound calls into assigned accounts to confirm requirements, manage quotes, surface expiring agreements, and keep transactions moving.
▪ Coordinate with distributor and OEM partner teams on pricing, availability, promotions, and shipping.
▪ Keep CRM current on accounts, contacts, quotes, and orders; submit the weekly activity report.
▪ Learn the OEM portfolio, contract vehicles, and public sector buying process as preparation for progression along the ANS sales career path.
ACTIVITY STANDARDS
▪ Calls. 20 outbound calls per day, tracked daily.
▪ Throughput. Quotes turned around quickly and accurately, with orders processed same day whenever possible.
▪ Accuracy. Clean quotes, registrations, and order entry, measured by rework and error rates.
COMPENSATION
▪ Hourly, non-exempt, annualized at approximately $65,000.
▪ Commission paid monthly on the gross profit of business processed, at a rate that doubles once the shared monthly team GP goal is passed.
▪ Activity bonuses tied to call and processing standards.
▪ Team gross profit bonus when the shared monthly goal and customer satisfactions standards are met.

▪ Defined progression path into the ANS sales organization, with advancement to Account Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
▪ 1+ years of inside sales, sales support, order processing, or customer service experience; IT reseller, VAR, or distribution experience a plus.
▪ Excellent attention to detail with quoting, pricing, and order accuracy.
▪ Comfortable with high daily call volume and a fast-paced transaction desk.
▪ Organized and process driven; able to manage many open items without dropping any.
▪ Experience with distributor portals, OEM deal registration, or CRM systems a plus.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
