Full Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Construction Project Executive to lead and oversee complex construction projects from inception to completion. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in construction management, project coordination, and contract administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to large-scale construction initiatives through effective leadership, meticulous planning, and expert execution.

Duties

Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and specifications.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to facilitate seamless project workflows.
Develop detailed project schedules utilizing Primavera P6 and other construction management software; monitor progress regularly.
Oversee procurement processes, including construction estimating, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations.
Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings using Civil 3D and other design tools to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Manage project documentation such as contracts, change orders, RFIs (Request for Information), and submittals with precision.
Implement quality control procedures and safety protocols to uphold industry standards on construction sites.
Utilize ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other software platforms for project management, document control, and communication.
Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, resolve issues promptly, and ensure adherence to design specifications.
Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders to maintain transparency and foster collaborative problem-solving.
Track project costs meticulously; prepare reports on project status for senior management.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and environmental standards throughout all phases of construction.

Experience

Proven track record of at least 8 years in construction management or related roles with substantial site experience.
Extensive knowledge of construction estimating techniques and project scheduling methodologies.
Proficiency in Primavera P6, Primavera P3, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, ProCore, HeavyBid, and other relevant construction management software tools.
Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings.
Experience managing large-scale projects involving civil works or heavy infrastructure is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management skills.
Familiarity with contracts administration, change management processes, and legal considerations in construction projects.
Effective leadership skills with the ability to coordinate diverse teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
