Duties
- Walk dogs of various sizes and temperaments, ensuring they get proper exercise and mental stimulation
- Provide pet sitting services including feeding, administering medication, cleaning up after pets, and maintaining daily routines
- Monitor pets’ behavior and health, noting any changes or concerns for owner updates
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for pets, including basic pet care tasks
- Follow specific instructions related to pet training or veterinary needs provided by owners or supervisors
Skills
- Strong animal handling abilities with experience in pet sitting, dog training, or veterinary settings
- Ability to lift heavy objects such as bags of pet food or equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members
- Familiarity with kennel experience, animal care protocols, and pet grooming techniques
- Basic knowledge of pet first aid and emergency procedures (or willingness to be trained)
- Comfortable using a smartphone to manage schedule, GPS, and client updates
