Position Summary
The Pediatric Psychologist/Neuropsychologist provides comprehensive psychological evaluation services for children and adolescents with concerns for one or more neurodevelopmental disorders. This role is central to diagnostic clarification, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration within Vibrant Minds’ integrated care model. The psychologist works collaboratively with directors, psychometrists, therapists, and medical providers to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. Depending on licensure and experience, this position may be structured as on-site, hybrid, or partially remote, with remote work primarily focused on intakes, interviewing, report writing, supervision, and consultation. Hybrid evaluations will include support of an on-site psychometrist to facilitate families connecting with the psychologist.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Assessment & Diagnosis
- Conduct detailed clinical interviews with caregivers and children to gather developmental, medical, academic, and psychosocial histories.
- Consult with community partners to gather patient information and history, as needed.
- Administer, score, and interpret standardized psychological and neurodevelopmental assessments, including measures of: cognitive functioning, executive functioning, memory, language and communication, adaptive behavior, social functioning, emotional/behavioral functioning, and academic achievement.
- Diagnose neurodevelopmental disorders using DSM-5-TR criteria and best-practice evaluation standards.
- Provide clear, actionable feedback to families, including education about diagnoses, strengths, challenges, and recommended interventions.
- Produce timely, high-quality evaluation reports
Supervision & Leadership
- Supervise psychometrists, trainees, or other clinical staff as assigned
- Provide clinical oversight and consultation to interdisciplinary team members
- Participate in case conferences, peer consultation, and quality assurance activities
Documentation & Reporting
- Produce timely, high-quality evaluation reports that meet clinical, payer, and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and applicable regulations
- Support report review and clinical documentation workflows that may be completed remotely
Collaboration & Program Development
- Contribute to development of clinical protocols and best practices
- Participate in team meetings, clinical planning, and quality improvement initiatives
- Engage in training or mentorship activities through the affiliated training institute, as appropriate
Compliance & Professional Standards
- Adhere to APA ethical guidelines, state licensure requirements, and payer regulations
- Maintain confidentiality and safeguard protected health information
- Stay current with continuing education and evidence-based practices
Qualifications Required
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology from an accredited program
- Licensed or license-eligible psychologist in Oregon (or ability to obtain licensure)
- Experience conducting pediatric psychological and neurodevelopmental assessments
- Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and collaborative mindset
Qualifications Preferred
- Experience with autism evaluations and related diagnostic tools
- Experience working in multidisciplinary or integrated care settings
- Interest in teaching and supervising trainees
- Experience providing telehealth services

Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation: Rate TBD, commensurate with experience, licensure, and role scope

Pay: $65.00 - $120.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
