Access, CCTV Security Systems Technician – Sioux Falls, SD

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, repair, modify, and test access control, CCTV, and security systems hardware
and software.
- Work with data, alarm, and monitoring circuits.
- Install, maintain, and test data cables, electronic door locks, access card readers, CCTV cameras, and other security hardware.
- Troubleshoot and correct malfunctions in security systems.
- Assist in designing and modifying security systems.
- Conduct research and analyze test measurements.
- Recommend system expansions and replacements.
- Document work performed and keep records.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED with 3-5 years of experience in security systems installation and maintenance.
Clean criminal record and valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Preferred: Experience with CCTV and access control systems like Lenel, ProWatch, Verkada, DMP, S2, Avigilon, Honeywell.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in access control, CCTV, and security system equipment installation, testing, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in security systems.
- Ability to use and care for electronic test equipment.
- Understanding of security system cabling color codes and installation standards.
