Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Bank Representative to join our financial services team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to our valued customers, providing expert guidance on banking products and services while delivering exceptional customer service. Your energetic approach will help foster strong relationships, promote financial literacy, and drive sales growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community by helping clients achieve their financial goals through personalized solutions.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers to understand their financial needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services, including loans, savings accounts, and investment options.
Facilitate the loan origination process by assessing applicant eligibility, collecting necessary documentation, and guiding clients through application procedures.
Manage customer relationships by providing ongoing support, upselling relevant products, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Detect and prevent fraud by monitoring transactions for suspicious activity and adhering to security protocols.
Process transactions accurately, including cash handling, debits & credits, and cash management activities such as balancing tills and maintaining cash registers.
Assist with account maintenance tasks like updating customer information, resolving discrepancies, and processing account closures or modifications.
Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets through proactive upselling strategies while maintaining compliance with banking regulations.

Skills

Proven experience in financial sales and customer relationship management within a banking or financial services environment.
Strong knowledge of loan processing, origination procedures, and related compliance standards.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and professionally.
Proficiency in banking software systems and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
Ability to detect potential fraud or suspicious activity using established security protocols.
Competence in retail math, cash handling, cashiering, and cash management techniques such as balancing tills and managing debits & credits.
Familiarity with upselling techniques to promote additional banking products effectively.
