Job Description:

Assist shop mechanics in various task such as housekeeping. Assist the shop superintendent and mechanics in making precise part orders by using part numbers and matching with make and models. Duties also include picking up and delivering parts and well as keeping inventory and stocking parts as needed and directed.

Minimum Qualifications & Training:

Experience in basic computer skills and a knowledge of inventory.
Ability to abide by and to communicate to personnel precise instructions.
Will be assigned to a company vehicle so must have a good driving record and background.
Must be a reliable and trustworthy individual that will be a team player.
Maintain a good attendance and safety record and be a self- starter and motivated individual.

Tasks Essential to Job Functions:

This job requires the following motions: standing, walking, stretching, bending, lifting, pulling, twisting, throwing, reaching and squatting.
Ability to remember and understand certain instructions, guidelines or other information. The associate must be able to see and verbally communicate.
Regular use of hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Required regular lifting of or in excess of 25 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
Walking and standing may require a full day of 12 to 15 hours.
Will be exposed sometimes to extreme hot and cold temperatures.
This job requires some night and weekend work.
