In-home & telehealth now → in-person at our new clinic opening Fall 2026
Start in the field, grow into our brand-new Westlake Village clinic — and help build a
pediatric practice from the ground up.
Meet Therapy Clubhouse
Therapy Clubhouse is a pediatric speech and occupational therapy practice serving children ages
0–18 across Westlake Village, the Conejo Valley, and Ventura County. We deliver in-home and
telehealth therapy today, with our flagship Westlake Village clinic and sensory gym opening Fall
2026. We are a contracted Early Start / Early Intervention provider with Tri-Counties Regional
Center (TCRC). Learn more attherapyclubhouse.com
Meet the Founders
Therapy Clubhouse was founded by two clinicians — and moms — who set out to build the
pediatric practice they always wished existed:
- Rachel Yashouafar, MA, OTR/L — Co-Founder & Occupational Therapist. USC-trained
(Master of Arts in Occupational Therapy) with USC sensory-integration certification; NBCOT-
certified and CBOT-licensed, with experience across early intervention, in-home, and clinic-
based pediatric care.
- Nita Anavim, M.S., CCC-SLP — Co-Founder & Speech-Language Pathologist. CSUN-
trained (B.S. and M.S. in Communicative Disorders & Sciences), ASHA-certified (CCC-SLP)
and California-licensed, with a background spanning early intervention, private practice, and
school-based settings, plus early-childhood education and ABA.
Together, Rachel and Nita are building a small, collaborative SLP + OT team that does therapy the
right way — small caseloads, real mentorship, and the time to truly connect with each child and
family. We are growing thoughtfully across the Conejo Valley and Ventura County now, opening
our Westlake Village clinic in Fall 2026, and building toward additional cities in the years ahead.
The OT we hire won’t be filling a slot — they’ll be a founding member of a team we’re growing for
the long run.
The Role
We’re hiring a full-time pediatric Occupational Therapist to grow with us through a pivotal year:
- Now → Fall 2026: Deliver in-home and telehealth pediatric OT across the Conejo Valley and
surrounding Ventura County.
- Fall 2026 onward: Move into our brand-new Westlake Village clinic and sensory gym as a
full-time, in-person, clinic-based OT.
- Prefer a blend? We’re happy to build a hybrid of in-home, telehealth, and in-clinic care
around the right clinician.

You’ll evaluate and treat fine-motor, sensory-processing, self-regulation, feeding, and daily-living
skills — fostering growth, independence, and confidence through engaging, play-based, family-
centered therapy that meets each child where they are.
Why You’ll Love It Here
- Small caseloads and schedules that respect your life.
- Mentorship from experienced clinicians and a genuinely collaborative SLP + OT team.
- A brand-new, therapist-designed clinic opening Fall 2026: a dedicated sensory gym for
swinging, climbing, and crashing safely; bright, calm treatment rooms; and a parent lounge.
- Hourly W-2 pay for all hours worked — including travel and documentation — plus paid drive
time and mileage for field visits.
- A founding-team seat in a practice that’s growing across the region and beyond.
Compensation
- Pay: $52–$62/hour depending on experience (W-2). A full caseload works out to roughly
$110,000–$125,000/year.
- Field work (in-home): mileage reimbursed at the 2026 IRS business rate of 72.5¢/mile, plus
paid drive time between clients; long-distance drives fully covered.
- Growth track: salaried/benefited path as caseloads stabilize and the clinic opens.
- W-2 benefits: workers’ compensation, California paid sick leave, and overtime.
- Job type: Full-time, W-2 employee. In-home/field-based now; in-person at our Westlake
Village clinic from Fall 2026 (hybrid possible).
What You’ll Do
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of fine-motor, sensory-processing, self-regulation,
feeding, and daily-living skills — in the home, via telehealth, and (from Fall 2026) in clinic.
- Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with each child’s goals and developmental
stage.
- Deliver engaging, play-based therapy using evidence-based, early-intervention techniques.
- Coach and collaborate with families and caregivers so progress carries over between
sessions.
- Maintain timely, compliant documentation of progress, session notes, and outcomes.
- Manage your own daily route within a geographically clustered caseload (field-based work).
- Collaborate with our SLP + OT team and help shape clinic programming as we grow.
- Stay current with best practices in pediatric occupational therapy.
