Job Title: Office Assistant

Reports To: Assistant Director of Operations

Location: The Marq at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI

Compensation: $8.75 per hour. Position not eligible for benefits

FLSA Status: Student Non-Exempt

Company Information:

Capstone On-Campus Management (COCM), with headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama, is a group of student housing professionals focused exclusively on the management of housing communities owned by non-profits and/or highly affiliated with a university.

Summary:

The Office Assistant is responsible for assisting operations and management staff in completing various administrative tasks while working in the management offce.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintaining confidentiality in all matters concerning student/staff discipline and any other matters.
Provide customer service help to residents with management related processes
Answering the office phone professionally.
Assisting residents with work order requests.
Assisting residents and management with key access.
Adhering to employment schedule and dress code.
Enforcing policies / procedures of the residence halls and the university (including campus, state and federal regulations).
Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED.
Demonstrate proficiency in verbal communication.
Possess strong customer service skills.
Must have troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
