Full Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Client Service Specialist to join our innovative and dynamic team. This is a full-time, in-person position based in Madison, WI. At Ameriprise Financial we help people feel confident about their financial future by providing comprehensive financial planning and wealth management to families, individuals, and organizations to help achieve financial goals and simplify their financial lives.

Job Purpose:

Serve as a full-time Client Service Specialist, providing exceptionally friendly, helpful, high-quality service to our clients and help the practice in managing and organizing office workflow.

Responsibilities:

Support advisors with meeting prep and follow-up
Updating client information as necessary
Create and track forms and new business applications
Scanning, faxing, printing, copying
Other clerical support as required
Maintain client satisfaction
Conduct transaction requests as directed by advisors
Backup support for receptionist

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional office setting; financial services experience preferred
Reliable and consistent in attendance, punctuality, and task completion
Pleasant, professional, and friendly manner with excellent interpersonal skills
Strong team player
Highly organized, accurate, and attention to detail
Proven analytical and independent problem-solving skills
Comfortable working in a fast‑changing technology environment, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new and evolving tools
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities
Strong personal and business ethics and integrity
Eagerness to learn and grow within the practice
Ability to work on-site in Madison, WI during standard office hours

Office Hours:

Monday – Thursday 8:00AM – 5:00PM
Friday 8:00AM – 3:00PM
