Full Job Description

Receptionist – CES Academy

CES Academy is seeking a friendly, organized, experienced, and dependable Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our students, families, staff, and visitors. If you enjoy working in a school environment and providing outstanding customer service, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Greet and assist students, parents, visitors, and staff in a professional and welcoming manner.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
Manage visitor check-in procedures and maintain security protocols.
Perform general office duties including filing, copying, data entry, and distributing mail.
Occasionally assist with lunch duty and help supervise students as needed.
Provide occasional student supervision during transitions or other school activities
Assist administrators and school staff with daily clerical tasks.
Maintain confidentiality of student and staff information.
Support the smooth operation of the front office.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous receptionist or office experience in a school required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications required
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule & Benefits

10-month position following the school calendar.
This position is off during summer break and other scheduled school breaks (such as Thanksgiving, Christmas and spring break) when school is not in session.
Regular daytime school hours.
