Full Job Description

Full-Time/Contractor

REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience as either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a relevant practice such as an Urgent Care, ER, or Trauma Unit
Ordering and interpreting tests, conducting complete physicals, and administering therapeutic procedures
Analyzes reports and/or findings of tests and personal examinations in order to assess the medical condition of the patient. This includes diagnosing his/her injury or illness and formulating a prognosis.
Effectively communicates with patients and other healthcare staff to manage patient care
Maintains a positive and productive behavior towards employees, paitients, vendors and guest.
Acts as a Leader within the clinic.
Refers the patient to other physicians or appropriate resources when and if needed
Prescribes medication and treatment for the patient. And, the Nurse Practitioner recommends appropriate physical and dietary routines and methods for the prevention of disease.
Instruct the patient to maintain personal hygiene.
Performs all services in a manner that is consistent with the standards of medical practice in the community
Performs such clinical procedures as are consistent with a Nurse Practitioners’ standard practice patterns and training
Performs or supervises various invasive medical procedures that include: the injection of medications, inoculations, and vaccinations
Patient focused, friendly, and willing to collaborate in a team environment
Knowledge of health and patient care regulation
Valid Medical License
Active DEA and CDS License
Available to work weekends
