Job description

As a Link Building Ops Associate, you will be joining a small team at D50 Media. You will work closely with the team to assist with off-site SEO strategy and implementation for our family of web products.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Link Building Ops Associate to support and enhance our off-site SEO efforts. Reporting directly to the Link Building Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth execution of daily operations for our link building campaigns.

In this role, you will:

Oversee and optimize operational processes that keep our campaigns running efficiently
Identify opportunities to improve campaign workflows and outcomes
Collaborate with SEO Managers to provide insights and data that inform strategic decisions
Contribute to the growth and success of our diverse portfolio of web properties by supporting innovative link-building initiatives.

This is a full-time, remote position.

About You - What We Are Looking for in a Candidate

We’re seeking a detail-oriented problem solver with experience managing data, analyzing trends, and optimizing workflows using technical tools. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, enjoy collaborating with others, and communicate effectively. Specific responsibilities of this role include:

Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and link-building best practices
Proven ability to manage tasks independently, meet deadlines, and maintain consistent attention to detail
Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills for cross-team collaboration
Technical proficiency with tools like Pitchbox, Google Analytics, Google Sheets/Excel, Ahrefs, SEMRush
Comfortable navigating data-driven environments and identifying insights that improve outreach performance
Familiarity with workflow automation platforms (e.g., n8n, Zapier, or Make) and willingness to learn internal systems

Skills & Experience

Specific requirements for this role include:

Ability to work independently, manage tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
Strong written and interpersonal communication abilities
Technical proficiency with tools like Pitchbox, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience troubleshooting technical issues and improving workflows

Preferred Experience or Software Experience:

1–3 years of experience in digital marketing, SEO, or link building
Hands-on experience using Pitchbox, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and WordPress
Familiarity with n8n or similar automation tools to streamline tasks and manage campaign data
Experience organizing and cleaning large datasets
Basic understanding of API-based workflows or how tools connect to share data
Interest in optimizing processes, improving efficiency, and experimenting with new marketing technologies

Compensation
