Full Job Description

Location: Overland Park, KS

No. of Positions: 2

Length of Contract: 6 months (to start)

W2 Rate (all inclusive): $45.85 – $50.79/hr

Only Candidates who are authorized to work in the US will be considered for this position.

Scope of Work

We are looking for a Systems Administrator skilled in Citrix XenApp, Citrix Netscaler, Access Gateway, Presentation Server and Microsoft Windows (2003, 2008 server) who would be responsible for Citrix administration, configuration, system level support and performance tuning.

Candidate will be responsible for day to day operation of existing Citrix environments serving a variety of Offshore and Onshore user communities as well as planning and implementing new ones. Must be located in or willing to relocate to the Kansas City metro.

Experience Required:

Minimum 4 year Degree in a Technical or Business field or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5+ years of business IT experience. 4+ years as a Citrix Presentation Server Administrator with strong knowledge of Citrix technologies • Citrix certifications
Application Packaging utilizing VMWare Thinapp or AP V a plus
Previous role supporting a production Citrix data center environment
Microsoft specific training or certifications a plus
Experience with VMware/Virtualization Administration
Experience with MS SQL • Windows administration, configuration, and system level support experience a plus
Understanding of TCP/IP and network services such as DNS, DHCP, WINS, etc
Understanding of Microsoft Windows security concepts
Strong written and verbal Communication skills
Able to document repeatable processes and procedures problem solving/troubleshooting skills
Ability to interface with customers (internal & external) and strong interpersonal skills
Creative problem-solving and analytical skills a must
Strong organizational skills
Ability to understand new technologies quickly
Ability to work flexible hours as required
