Overview
Step into the exciting role of a Clue Trivia Host, where your vibrant personality and love for entertainment will bring fun, energy, and engagement to our lively events. As a key part of our team, you will create memorable experiences for guests by hosting interactive trivia games that challenge their knowledge and spark friendly competition. Your enthusiasm and confident public speaking skills will keep the atmosphere lively, ensuring everyone feels welcome and involved. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to showcase your hospitality talents while fostering a fun, community-centered environment.

Responsibilities

Host engaging and energetic trivia games, guiding participants through game rules and ensuring smooth gameplay
Interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service and guest support throughout the event
Manage event logistics, including setting up game materials, handling cash transactions if applicable, and maintaining a lively atmosphere
Resolve any conflicts or disputes among participants quickly and diplomatically to maintain a positive environment
Coordinate with team members to ensure timely event start and smooth transitions between game rounds
Use your public speaking skills to entertain audiences, explain game rules clearly, and encourage participation from all age groups
Assist in creating an inclusive environment that welcomes guests of all backgrounds, including children and families

Qualifications

Proven experience in events management or hosting live entertainment activities such as theater or resort events
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle challenging situations gracefully
Excellent customer service and guest services skills to ensure a positive experience for all attendees
Experience with cash handling or food service is a plus, demonstrating responsibility and attention to detail
Background in hospitality or working with children is desirable for engaging diverse audiences effectively
Confident public speaker with clear communication skills capable of captivating an audience
Prior lifeguard experience or safety training is beneficial but not required; safety awareness is valued in managing group activities
