Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Employee Benefits Concierge to serve as the primary point of contact for employees seeking assistance with their benefits programs. In this role, you will deliver exceptional service by providing comprehensive guidance on health insurance, retirement plans, leave policies, workers' compensation, and other employee benefits. Your expertise will ensure employees understand their options, navigate HR systems efficiently, and remain compliant with applicable employment laws. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence employee satisfaction and foster a positive workplace culture through proactive communication and personalized support.

Responsibilities

Act as the main liaison for employees regarding benefits inquiries, ensuring clear and timely communication across various channels.
Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations using HRIS systems such as Workday, Oracle HCM, or SAP SuccessFactors.
Provide detailed explanations of health insurance options, FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), workers' compensation procedures, and other employment-related policies.
Support payroll management processes by verifying data accuracy related to benefits deductions and contributions in systems like ADP, Paylocity, or UltiPro.
Ensure compliance with HR legal standards including employment & labor law, HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), and regulatory reporting requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams on employee orientation and training sessions to enhance understanding of benefits offerings.
Collect and analyze data related to benefits utilization and employee feedback to improve program effectiveness.

Experience

Proven experience in human resources or benefits administration with a strong understanding of HR systems such as Workday, Lawson, or PeopleSoft.
Demonstrated knowledge of health insurance plans, Medicare regulations, and federal/state employment laws including FMLA and workers' compensation procedures.
Familiarity with payroll management platforms like Kronos, Ceridian, or Paylocity is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex benefit concepts clearly and empathetically.
Strong data collection and analysis skills to support regulatory compliance reporting and benefits program improvements.
Prior experience in employee relations, negotiation, and employee evaluation processes is advantageous.
Ability to stay current on HR legal compliance issues including employment & labor law updates and HIPAA regulations.
