LMHC Trainer/Supervisor of Master’s Level clinicians, Interns and New Graduates
About the Position
We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and motivated Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our growing outpatient behavioral health practice in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. This is an in-person Fee-for-Service (FFS) position offering flexibility for either full-time or part-time clinicians who are passionate about providing high-quality mental health care.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, experience working with diverse populations, and a minimum of three years of clinical supervisory experience. This role offers the opportunity to provide psychotherapy services while contributing to the professional development of other clinicians through mentorship and supervision. Supervision may encompass 50% of your job responsibilities or more.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Massachusetts Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in good standing.
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical supervisory experience.
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, or a related behavioral health field.
- Experience providing outpatient psychotherapy services.
- Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work in-person at our Chelmsford or Lowell locations.
Preferred:
- Experience working in an outpatient setting.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, specifically Athena.
- Specialized training in evidence-based treatment modalities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy services.
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary providers and referral sources to support client care.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to client needs.
- Provide clinical supervision, consultation, and mentorship to clinicians as assigned.
- Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities.
- Maintain ethical and professional standards consistent with LMHC licensure requirements.
