Job Title: Dual Beam (DB) / Focused Ion Beam (FIB) Process Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Dual Beam (DB) / Focused Ion Beam (FIB) Process Technician to support semiconductor manufacturing and process development activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating and maintaining Dual Beam (DB) and/or Focused Ion Beam (FIB) systems in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, equipment maintenance experience, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to optimize processes and resolve technical issues.

Important: Candidates must have hands-on Dual Beam (DB) experience. Please include the total number of hours worked on DB/FIB processes within your application.

Key Responsibilities

Operate metrology tools such as Dual Beam (DB) and/or Focused Ion Beam (FIB) systems to qualify process equipment and optimize manufacturing processes.
Perform technical tests and experiments, including setup, operation, and monitoring of process equipment.
Collect, analyze, and document test results, preparing records, charts, and reports.
Adjust hardware and software parameters to support process improvements and experimental requirements.
Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot process, equipment, and integration issues.
Perform preventative maintenance and support unscheduled maintenance activities on process equipment.
Conduct basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on vacuum-based equipment.
Follow all safety, quality, and cleanroom procedures while maintaining accurate documentation.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on Dual Beam (DB) and/or Focused Ion Beam (FIB) experience.
Experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing or high-volume production environment.
Strong background troubleshooting and maintaining vacuum-based processing equipment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated with strong technical and hands-on abilities.
Associate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Semiconductor fabrication experience.
Experience supporting metrology, failure analysis, or process engineering teams.
Familiarity with cleanroom manufacturing environments.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

Work is primarily performed in a cleanroom environment.
Ability to wear required PPE, including:
Safety glasses
Safety shoes
Bump cap
Cleanroom garments
Ability to walk 10,000+ steps per shift and climb multiple flights of stairs during a 12-hour shift.
Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
Frequent bending, stooping, crawling, climbing, and working in confined spaces may be required.
Must be comfortable working around industrial equipment, chemicals, electrical systems, moving mechanical parts, radiation, and high-voltage environments while following established safety procedures.
