Texas-Licensed Physician (MD/DO) — Partnership and Practice-Growth Opportunity

Company: Texas Medical Marijuana Physicians

Location: Houston, Texas

Job Type: Flexible; part-time, full-time, or independent-contractor structure may be considered

Schedule: Flexible and mutually agreed upon

Compensation: Competitive and negotiable; compensation details will be discussed during the interview. Potential revenue participation and partnership opportunities may be available based on experience, availability, responsibilities, and long-term involvement with the practice.

About the Opportunity

Texas Medical Marijuana Physicians is seeking a Texas-licensed MD or DO who is interested in joining and growing with a developing medical practice serving patients who may qualify for the Texas Compassionate Use Program.

We are especially interested in an orthopedic physician, pain medicine physician, physical medicine and rehabilitation physician, or another qualified physician with experience treating chronic pain and musculoskeletal conditions.

This position is ideal for a physician who is entrepreneurial, flexible, and interested in helping shape the future of a growing practice. We are not simply looking for someone to cover occasional patient appointments. We want to establish a long-term professional relationship with a physician who is willing to grow with the organization, contribute to the development of its clinical services, and potentially assume a larger leadership role as the patient base expands.

The employment or contractor arrangement is open to negotiation. We are willing to discuss the physician’s preferred schedule, compensation structure, clinical responsibilities, level of involvement, and long-term professional goals during the interview process.

Established Practice Infrastructure

The medical facility is located in Shirley, Texas, in the Sulphur Springs area. Texas Medical Marijuana Physicians has already established the core infrastructure needed to support the practice, including:

Medical office space

Electronic medical record system

Patient intake and scheduling systems

Administrative and clinical workflows

Practice-management systems

Operational support

Patient-development and marketing infrastructure

The selected physician will not be required to build an entire medical practice from the ground up. Our goal is to provide the facility, technology, systems, and operational foundation so the physician can focus on patient care, clinical leadership, and responsible practice growth.

Long-Term Growth and Partnership Potential

We are particularly interested in speaking with physicians who may eventually want to move into private or solo practice.

The physician may begin in a part-time, full-time, or independent-contractor role and gradually increase their involvement as the practice and patient population grow. For the right candidate, the opportunity may evolve into a physician-leadership position, revenue-participation arrangement, long-term partnership, or physician-led solo-practice model using the existing medical office and operational infrastructure.

No specific partnership or ownership arrangement is guaranteed at the beginning of the relationship. However, we are open to meaningful discussions with a physician who demonstrates strong clinical judgment, professionalism, commitment, and a genuine interest in growing with Texas Medical Marijuana Physicians.

All compensation, employment, contractor, revenue-participation, and partnership terms will be negotiated and documented in an appropriate written agreement. The physician will retain independent authority over all clinical decisions.

Pay: From $52,760.80 per year
