Community Growth & Revenue Specialist
Full-Time | Salaried | In Office Four Days Per Week + Limited Weekend Remote Coverage
Role Purpose
The Community Growth & Revenue Specialist is responsible for generating revenue by building meaningful relationships with the Fluffy Feather Farm community. This role transforms everyday social media conversations into opportunities to grow merchandise sales, VIP membership, charitable support, product feedback, user-generated content, and long-term customer loyalty.
Community engagement is the strategy, but business growth is the mission.
Our Mission for This Role
We are not looking for someone whose primary goal is simply answering comments or providing customer service. We are looking for a relationship-driven sales and growth professional who genuinely enjoys connecting with people, identifying opportunities to help them, and guiding them toward products, experiences, programs, and initiatives they will love.
This role functions similarly to a community-based lead generation and inside sales role. The Specialist uses social engagement to identify buying signals, nurture audience relationships, invite followers into VIP Insiders, support product launches, encourage repeat purchases, identify advocates, gather feedback, and help convert followers into customers and long-term supporters.
Success is measured by revenue, conversions, repeat customers, VIP growth, customer insights, and stronger relationships with the community.
Primary ResponsibilitiesRevenue Growth
- Identify opportunities within social conversations to recommend products, bundles, merchandise, VIP membership and charitable initiatives.
- Recognize buying signals and confidently guide followers through purchasing decisions.
- Support product launches by generating excitement, answering questions, addressing objections, and helping followers understand product value.
- Follow up with interested community members to increase conversions, repeat purchases, product feedback, and ongoing engagement.
- Identify high-value customers and opportunities to increase lifetime customer value.
- Surface upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on audience interest, gifting needs, character affinity, product questions, seasonal needs, and purchase intent.
- Convert social engagement into measurable product interest, store traffic, VIP signups, and revenue opportunities.
VIP Insider Growth
- Identify strong candidates for the VIP Insiders program through comments, DMs, repeat engagement, product interest, and emotional connection to the farm.
- Use approved language and links to invite qualified followers into VIP Insiders.
- Help position VIP Insiders as the primary owned-audience pathway for early access, new animal naming, product previews, special announcements, surveys, feedback opportunities, product testing, and exclusive farm updates.
- Track VIP invitations, VIP conversion opportunities, and audience themes that may help improve future VIP campaigns.
- Support the goal of moving social followers into owned-audience relationships that can support future marketing, CRM segmentation, product launches, and revenue growth.
Community Growth
- Respond to comments and direct messages in a warm, personal, brand-consistent voice.
- Build authentic relationships that deepen trust and strengthen loyalty.
- Encourage meaningful conversations that create lifelong customers, advocates, and supporters.
- Identify potential ambassadors, influencers, product testers, evaluators, unboxers, testimonial contributors, and user-generated content opportunities.
- Help move followers from passive social engagement into active community participation.
- Maintain the Fluffy Feather Farm voice while balancing warmth, helpfulness, and appropriate conversion opportunities.
Product, Merchandise, and Launch Support
- Monitor product-related comments, questions, concerns, objections, and requests.
- Identify and tag product questions, purchase intent, bundle opportunities, restock interest, gifting interest, sizing questions, and seasonal product ideas.
- Support merchandise campaigns and product drops by answering questions, creating excitement, and guiding interested followers toward purchase or VIP signup.
- Gather audience feedback that may inform product development, pricing, bundling, naming, creative direction, and future launches.
- Identify product tester, evaluator, unboxer, and testimonial opportunities.
Charity and Mission Support
- Identify followers who show interest in the Fluffy Feather Farm Charity, Tucker nominations, hospital stories, giving, or mission-based support.
- Use approved language to guide interested followers toward Charity participation, Tucker nominations, updates, and support opportunities.
- Capture audience sentiment, stories, and questions related to the Charity.
- Help strengthen the connection between community engagement, mission impact, and long-term supporter loyalty.
Customer Intelligence, Audience Curation & Reporting
- Use Agorapulse and other required tools to review, respond to, tag, track, and route audience interactions across comments and DMs.
- Track recurring themes that may signal new product opportunities, content ideas, audience confusion, sales barriers, or future campaign opportunities.
- Maintain organized customer tracking and engagement workflows.
- Provide daily and weekly reporting on activity, conversion opportunities, revenue signals, VIP growth, product interest, customer insights, audience trends, and escalations.
- Share insights that inform Shopify, VIP Insiders, email campaigns, CRM segmentation, product launches, marketing campaigns, community engagement, and customer experience improvements.
- Collaborate with leadership, marketing, social media, product, and operations to maximize business growth.
Qualifications
- Experience in relationship-based sales, hospitality, customer support & success, retail, marketing, promotions, community engagement, or social media engagement.
- Outstanding written communication and emotional intelligence.
- Strong ability to build trust and create warm, helpful conversations.
- Self-motivated and driven by measurable business results.
- Strong organizational skills and follow-through.
- Experience with CRM, social media management, reporting, and customer tracking tools.
- Ability to identify buying signals, audience interest, objections, and follow-up opportunities.
- Ability to work in office four weekdays per week and support limited remote weekend coverage.
- Interest in animals, storytelling, community-building, lifestyle brands, merchandise, mission-driven work, and customer engagement.
