Full Job Description

Aya Healthcare has an exciting opportunity in the Loma Linda, CA area for an experienced Data Entry Clerk!

If you're a detail-oriented administrative professional with strong data entry skills and experience working in a fast-paced office environment, this is an excellent opportunity to join a leading healthcare organization through Aya Healthcare. We're seeking a reliable Data Entry Clerk who thrives on accuracy, organization, and maintaining confidential records.

Location: Loma Linda, CA 92350
Position Type: Onsite
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Contract Length: 16-Week Contract
Start Date: July 27, 2026
Dress Code: Business Casual
Hourly Pay: $25/Hr

Data Entry Clerk Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate patient business records by processing and organizing incoming documentation.

Responsibilities include:

Scan, sort, and process incoming business office correspondence.
Separate, index, and upload documents into electronic patient records.
Maintain accuracy while processing high volumes of healthcare documentation.
Verify records and ensure documents are correctly assigned to patient files.
Utilize Microsoft Office and other internal software applications.
Operate and troubleshoot standard office equipment including scanners and printers.
Prioritize multiple assignments while meeting productivity and accuracy expectations.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with healthcare standards.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely document processing.
Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous data entry, document indexing, or administrative office experience preferred.
Ability to type 40+ words per minute.
10-key proficiency of approximately 9,000 KPH preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic computer applications.
Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.
Healthcare administrative or medical records experience is a plus.
