Full Job Description

TriSource is seeking a dedicated Direct Care Supervisor to coordinate recovery support services for a residential program serving women and their children. This role ensures 24/7 coverage, oversees facility maintenance, and provides leadership to the Recovery Support team. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean environment and ensuring all program services meet regulatory and licensing standards.

Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15206

Job Type: Full-time, Direct Hire or Temp to Perm

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm, Flexible hours required, including some evenings, overnights, weekends, and on-call availability.

Pay Rate: 48k-55k/year + Benefits (if DH)

The ideal candidate is outgoing, possesses a vibrant personality, and can engage both staff and clients in a professional yet personable manner. You should be a "people person" who thrives in a dynamic, community-focused environment.

Position Qualifications

Education: BS Degree in Human Services or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of paid human services experience (Required).
2 years of experience in residential facility management or staff supervision (Preferred).
Mission Alignment: Supportive of faith-based recovery approaches and sensitive to cultural diversity.

Primary Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and schedule Recovery Support Specialists and Program Assistants.
Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of residential apartments and common areas; coordinate repairs and order supplies.
Clinical Support: Manage medication monitoring and staff training; oversee pharmacy and urine collection schedules.
Compliance: Ensure the program operates in accordance with quality assurance, licensing (PA Dept. of Health), and regulatory standards.
Transportation: Coordinate van maintenance and schedule residential appointments, including childcare coordination and escorting.
Reporting: Provide monthly reports on transportation and operations to executive leadership.

Requirements & Working Conditions

Clearances: Must be able to pass a background check
Certifications: Valid PA Driver’s License; must obtain/maintain First Aid/CPR certification and annual PPD test.
Physical: Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and climb up to five flights of stairs (facility does not have an elevator).
Environment: Residential facility setting; exposure to high-risk environments and clients with substance abuse or mental health challenges is likely.
