Full Job Description

Growing Plastic Surgery Practice, Medical Spa, Outpatient Surgical Center looking for a Practice Administrator to oversee the business and staffing operations.

Responsible for approximately 10 full-time staff. This includes staff supervision, risk management, human resources, product inventory, community relations, business development, and financial management.

Directs and manages the plans, finances, programs, activities and staff. Directs the operations of the practice toward achievement of its operating plan.

Oversees and helps to design and implement policies, procedures and best practices that put the business and its staff at the forefront.

Direct, manage and lead all business and staffing aspects of the plastic surgery practice, medical spa and outpatient surgical center.

Responsibilities Include:

● Spearhead build out and move to a new building
○ leases/ contracts
○ technology
○ coordinating with the appropriate parties (architect, contractor, etc)
● Spearhead the growth of-
○ outpatient surgical center processes to maximize growth and efficiency and recruit other surgeons to use the center
○ Non- MD services (facials, etc.)
● Overall financial operations including general accounting, budget preparation and management, external audits, reporting, ROIs, financial planning and analysis.
○ Providing financial leadership to related staff
○ Assists the owner in the identification and development of strategic plans for newservices that generate additional sources of profitable revenue - contributing financial expertise to include analyses of service demand, resource availability, and project feasibility.
○ Managing costs by continually seeking data that will identify opportunities and take action to eliminate non-value costs
○ Inventory management
○ Monitors, interprets, and analyzes financial performance including trending of keyfinancial metrics with comparison to industry benchmarks

○ Assures the timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial statements and reports, and presentation of these statements and reports to the owner.

● Incorporate best practice guidelines and protocols
● Update / Implement policies and procedures
● Supervise weekly inventory of all product, supply, and injectables
● Order supplies, products, instruments, equipment as needed
● Manage staff and perform staff evaluations
● Manage biweekly payroll for the office and surgery center
● Maintain overall organization, cleanliness of the office and surgery center
● You are responsible for opening and closing the office
● Assist and supervise surgical center staffing: nurses, medical assistants,anesthesiologists, surgical techs.
● Supervise practice and surgical center vendors/services (med gas, hazardous waste,janitorial etc.)
● Maintain safety environment and OSHA standards
● Analyze monthly lead sources and prepare weekly and monthly reports
● Organize and facilitate weekly meeting
● Manage the payment of office invoices
