We're looking for a customer-focused Field Support Engineer who enjoys solving technical challenges while providing exceptional onsite and remote support to our clients.
Position Summary
The Field Support Engineer is responsible for delivering a combination of onsite and remote technical support for client environments. This role installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and supports desktops, laptops, networking equipment, peripherals, and basic server infrastructure while ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
This position requires regular travel to client locations, along with remote support when onsite assistance is not required.

Provide onsite technical support for client environments, including installations, upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, wireless, printer, and connectivity issues.
- Install, configure, and support desktops, laptops, workstations, network devices, and peripherals.
- Execute approved project work following documented implementation plans and change management procedures.
- Collaborate with the Service Desk, Project Teams, Security Team, vendors, and client contacts to resolve technical issues.
- Document all work performed, troubleshooting steps, time entries, and customer communications within the PSA system.
- Provide remote support for assigned tickets when onsite visits are not required.
- Maintain company equipment, tools, inventory, and testing equipment.
- Deliver professional customer service while representing Dynamic Quest at client locations.
- Participate in after-hours or on-call support as assigned.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on IT support experience.
- Experience supporting Windows desktops, laptops, Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra ID, networking, and common business applications.
- Experience installing and troubleshooting workstations, printers, network-connected devices, and related hardware.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment is strongly preferred.
