Entry-Level .NET Developer

Location: Mentor, OH (Hybrid or Onsite)
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience Level: Entry-Level (0–2 Years)
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 (Based on Experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level .NET Developer to join our growing software development team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or junior developer looking to build a career in software development. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of Microsoft .NET technologies, object-oriented programming principles, and web application development.

You will work alongside experienced developers to design, develop, test, and maintain business applications while gaining hands-on experience with modern development practices and technologies.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain web and desktop applications using C# and .NET technologies.
Assist in designing and implementing software solutions based on business requirements.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Participate in code reviews and team development meetings.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Work with SQL databases to develop queries, stored procedures, and data integrations.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers throughout the software development lifecycle.
Support application deployments and software updates.
Learn and apply industry best practices in software development.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
0–2 years of software development experience (internships, co-ops, and personal projects considered).
Experience with C# and the .NET Framework or .NET Core through coursework, internships, or projects.
Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web development concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, or Web API.
Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server.
Knowledge of Entity Framework.
Exposure to Git or other version control systems.
Understanding of RESTful APIs.
Experience with Azure or cloud technologies.
Internship, capstone project, or personal portfolio demonstrating software development skills.
