Job Summary
The Head of Supply Chain is the top executive leading the Company’s end-to-end supply chain strategy, including planning, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, distribution, customer fulfillment, and supplier partnerships. This role is responsible for improving service levels, operational efficiency, cost performance, working capital, supply continuity, and organizational capability while supporting the Company’s growth objectives. Reporting to the President, this leader partners closely with Operations, Sales, Finance, and Executive Leadership to align supply chain performance with business priorities.
Key Responsibilities

· Develop and execute supply chain strategies that support profitable growth, customer service, operational excellence, and long-term business objectives.
· Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align demand, production capacity, inventory, procurement, and financial goals.
· Play a key role in the commercialization / stage-gate process for efficient execution.
- Provide leadership for procurement, planning, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, transportation, distribution, customer fulfillment, and supplier performance.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators, including service levels, fill rate/OTIF, inventory turns, freight performance, supplier performance, cost savings, and working capital.
- Responsible for utilizing modern technology tools and their use cases to improve our processes and operational model within the function.
- Partner with Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to balance customer demand, manufacturing capacity, inventory investment, cost, and profitability.
- Develop procurement and supplier strategies that improve supply continuity, vendor relationships, supplier performance, total cost of ownership, and innovation.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through contingency planning, business continuity planning, supplier diversification, and proactive issue resolution.
- Lead continuous improvement, operational excellence, digital transformation, automation, and analytics initiatives that improve productivity, visibility, and decision-making.
- Manage departmental budgets, resources, projects, and controls to achieve financial and operational objectives.
· Management of the risks associated with protein commodity ownership.
- Build, coach, and develop high-performing teams while fostering accountability, collaboration, inclusion, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications (Required)

Education & Credentials
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field required; MBA or related master’s degree preferred.
- Relevant professional certification, such as ASCM/APICS CPIM or CSCP, preferred.
Experience
- 15+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience across planning, procurement, inventory management, logistics, distribution, and customer fulfillment.
- Executive-level experience leading complex, multi-site supply chain operations in food manufacturing, consumer goods, protein manufacturing, or a related environment.
- Proven track record improving service levels, OTIF/fill rate, inventory performance, supplier performance, working capital, cost efficiency, and operational execution.
- Demonstrated success leading S&OP, business transformation, continuous improvement, organizational change, and enterprise-level supply chain initiatives.
- Experience building high-performing teams, developing future leaders, and partnering with executive leadership to deliver business priorities.
