Responsibilities
- Lead daily sales floor operations, motivating team members to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Assist customers with product selections, providing detailed product demos and upselling where appropriate.
- Supervise retail sales transactions, including cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) operations, and cashiering duties.
- Conduct merchandising and stocking activities to ensure the store remains attractive and well-organized.
- Train and supervise staff on retail sales techniques, phone etiquette, and effective communication skills.
- Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment and product displays to maximize sales opportunities.
- Support team development through coaching on retail math, basic math skills, and customer service excellence.
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in a retail environment or similar setting.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail sales transactions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs.
- Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies.
- Familiarity with cannabis store or retail sales environments is preferred.
- Ability to perform retail math calculations accurately and efficiently.
