POSITION OVERVIEW
Delivers supplies or large equipment to job site locations and other delivery locations in accordance with an established schedule utilizing a company vehicle along with operates large equipment to support on-site and project needs
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drives a company motor vehicle (CMV) 26,001 + pounds to customer businesses and residences to deliver materials or equipment according to established procedures
- Operates large equipment, including earth movers, excavators, and other equipment as needed
- Maintains and services large equipment, including minor equipment repairs as necessary
- Sets core delivery schedule including additional hours and potential schedule changes depending on the time of the year and peak seasons
- Interacts professionally with customers and the general public when delivering products and equipment to customers' site locations
- Supports landscape operations as necessary
- Maintains a clean and safe work site including proper maintenance and care of all company equipment
- Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices
- Position may perform other duties as assigne
- Responsibilities:
- During snow season:
- Operate snowplow and salt truck to remove ice and snow from roads and assigned areas, which require early morning starts, extended hours, and weekend duty including holidays.
- Responds in a timely manner (within 30 minutes) when called to assist in snow plowing.
- Ensure that roads under responsibility of this position are adequately and safely plowed when required.
- Shovel snow, grounds maintenance and other duties as assigned related to facilities and roads maintenance

- Ability to interface with all types of mechanical and construction contractors
- Ability to problem solve and exhibit flexibility due to impacted routes and schedules
