Full Job Description

First Eye Associates is seeking a personable, self-motivated Medical Receptionist professional to join our Ophthalmology Practice. Our mission is to provide a patient-centric experience; we are seeking applicants eager to provide attentive care and promote positive patient experiences in our well established office.

Suitable applicants should have excellent interpersonal skills, proficient computer literacy, and exceptional attention to detail. Medical Reception experience is required, Ophthalmology office experience is preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Check patients in/out of appointments
Schedule appointments for multiple providers
Answer multi-line phone
Address emails and messages
Verify and input patient demographic and insurance information
Process co-pays and collect outstanding balances
Fax and scan documents
Maintain front desk and waiting room appearance

Qualifications:

Great communication skills, both written and verbal

Comfortable with technology
Excellent interpersonal skills
Attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a busy environment
Teamwork skills and a willingness to work closely with other office staff are essential
Previous reception experience required, medical office experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
