Full Job Description

Accounts Receivable Analyst

Work Arrangement: Hybrid 2-3 days per week onsite

This role is ideal for an AR professional who enjoys a mix of cash applications, account reconciliation, and customer collections while working in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Apply daily customer payments, including checks, ACH, wire transfers, and credit card transactions
Research and resolve payment discrepancies, short pays, deductions, and unapplied cash
Reconcile cash receipts and customer account balances
Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due invoices
Conduct commercial collections via phone and email while maintaining positive customer relationships
Review and maintain customer account information and payment terms
Work closely with customers, sales, customer service, and accounting teams to resolve billing and payment issues
Assist with month-end accounts receivable reconciliations and reporting
Prepare aging reports and provide updates on collection activities
Support credit and collections efforts as needed
Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company policies

Qualifications

2+ years of accounts receivable, cash applications, and/or collections experience
Manufacturing, distribution, or business-to-business (B2B) environment experience preferred
Experience applying cash and reconciling customer accounts
Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and collection procedures
Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with commercial collections
Exposure to credit management or deduction resolution
ERP system experience within a manufacturing environment

Compensation

Competitive salary based on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth.

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
