Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Reservation Agent/Group Sales Coordinator to join our hospitality team! In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and groups ensuring their booking experience is seamless, welcoming, and efficient. Your energetic approach and exceptional customer service skills will help create memorable stays and foster guest loyalty. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant resort environment where hospitality excellence is at the forefront of everything we do.

Hourly Wage is based on experience as well as a commission bonus.

Responsibilities

Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and multi-line phone systems with professionalism and warmth.
Assist guests in selecting room types, amenities, and special requests to tailor their experience.
Manage booking modifications, cancellations, and confirmations accurately and promptly.
Provide detailed information about hotel services, local attractions, and policies to enhance guest satisfaction.
Maintain organized reservation records and update the property management system efficiently.
Coordinate with front desk staff to ensure smooth check-in/check-out processes for arriving guests.
Address guest inquiries related to reservations, amenities, or special accommodations with clear communication and hospitality expertise.
Entry Level into Group Sales Career
Based in the Reservation Department, this agent is responsible for handling regular bookings and reservations as well as groups
Point of contact for groups
Create and Distribute Banquet Event Order with oversite from F&B and Reservations Manager
Coordinate on site tours for groups as well as individual social guests who want to see more of the rooms on offer

Qualifications

Proven experience in hotel management, front desk operations, or customer service within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to create positive guest interactions.
Passion for hospitality management with a focus on delivering outstanding guest services.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or nights if required, in a fast-paced environment.
