Overview
We are seeking a highly vigilant and dedicated Security Doorman to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. This role involves proactive surveillance, incident prevention, and immediate response to emergencies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in law enforcement, military, or security operations, with a focus on conflict management and loss prevention. Your energetic approach and commitment to maintaining a secure environment will be vital in safeguarding our organization’s integrity.

Duties

Monitor premises through CCTV systems and conduct regular surveillance patrols to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to prevent unauthorized entry.
Respond swiftly and effectively to incidents, including conflicts or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills and first aid knowledge when necessary.
Conduct thorough inspections of personnel and property to deter theft, vandalism, or other security threats.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies, providing detailed reports and support as needed.
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incident reports, and security breaches for record-keeping and analysis.
Implement loss prevention strategies by identifying vulnerabilities and enforcing security protocols diligently.

Requirements

Proven experience in law enforcement, military service, or professional security roles with a focus on surveillance and conflict management.
Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; additional training in CCTV operation and loss prevention is a plus.
Strong understanding of security procedures, CCTV systems, and emergency response protocols.
Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing conflicts effectively and professionally.
Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail during patrols and inspections.
Physical fitness to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts.
