Organizational Culture In a transformative and emerging organization, Future Of Us believes that the overall strategies should be owned by every single person at Future Of Us. As such, it is the responsibility of all staff to understand the overall mission, vision and direction the organization is moving towards. One must be accountable to their own work and responsibilities, while supporting and coaching each other to produce high impactful and innovative strategies for the overall success of the organization. This means taking ownership of the organization as a whole. Which means that 10% of your role may include stepping up, taking charge, rolling up your sleeves and supporting each other in functions and activities such as special events, special projects, program design and implementation, fundraising, grant writing, community support, board and funders meeting, office support, and other minor duties as assigned. While it is the responsibility of each member to meet their work expectation, it is also critical to maintain a balanced work-life culture. Future Of Us believes that when we all work to support each other in the overall mission and vision of the organization, we all succeed. This will help Future Of Us create a work culture that is inclusive, mindful of biases, socially and culturally conscious and equitable.
Position Summary We are in a pivotal moment. The decisions made in this political cycle will shape our communities for years to come—and Asian Americans must be seen, heard, and mobilized. We are looking for a team of 4 Ambassadors to aid in mutual aid, healing and Know Your Rights campaigning all while attending and supporting all public events that include Get Out The Vote (GOTV). And to support our year-long campaign focused on immigration, birthright citizenship, and voter protection, Campaign Ambassadors play a critical role in building visibility, trust, and collective power.
Future of Us Ambassadors are organizers, storytellers, and advocates who bring people into movement. Rooted in shared experiences and cultural identity, they create spaces where our communities feel welcomed, informed, and empowered to act. Through our year-long campaign focused on immigration, birthright citizenship, and voter protection, Ambassadors play a critical role in building visibility, trust, and collective power.
This role is about more than outreach—it’s about movement-building. Ambassadors mobilize Asian American communities to participate in the aftercare of the occupation of our cities, helping heal our communities and informing the public about their rights. They connect community members to critical issues while making political engagement feel relevant, urgent, and possible.
Working closely with the Campaign Manager, Ambassadors will strengthen and increase the visibility and number of supporters for our campaign. They will build movement through networking and attending all public events hosted by Future Of Us. Contribute to rebuilding and strengthening our base in the wake of overlapping crises—from the COVID-19 pandemic to racial violence, deportations, and systemic injustices that continue to impact our communities. This work requires both courage and care: the ability to challenge harmful systems while holding space for healing, connection, and collective growth.
We are looking for individuals who are bold in their advocacy and grounded in community. People who ask hard questions, think strategically, and lead with empathy. People who understand that Asian American issues are deeply connected to broader struggles for justice—and who are ready to build across communities to create lasting change.
This is a call to action. Bring your voice. Bring your people—family, friends, coworkers, and community. Help us build a powerful, people-driven movement that pushes us forward, not backward.
