Full Job Description

We are a leading "Green", sustainable plastics company, saving the environment by recycling and reprocessing millions of pounds of plastic scrap every year since 1993. Continuing success requires expansion and we seek an Inside Sales Representative/Admin Assistant for growth and services to existing and new markets.

Responsibilities:

Must have experience on Quickbooks online
A/P, A/R, sending invoices and Purchase Orders etc…
Make and receive payments by ACH
reconcile bank statements, credit card bills etc.
work on maintaining all bills/expenses related to a small business.
manage all accounts payable and receivable
Prepare deposit slips and make daily bank deposits
Collaborate with sales and transportation departments
Pay bills (utility, HOA etc) for all property related expenses
Communications with all tenants
Make sure all rents are received on time
File all and keep accurate records
Send reminders in a timely manner
organize files

Required Skills:

Communication Skills: Applicants must speak English fluently and possess strong verbal skills. Applicants must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and staff, both over the phone and in person. Applicants must have strong spelling and grammar skills in English. Applicants must be a great listener and must demonstrate the ability to follow orders and retain information. Be able to voice suggestions and ideas to the manager.
Phone Skills: Client/vendor interaction is mostly by email and telephone, applicants should possess the required phone etiquette. All incoming calls should be answered with a professional, friendly and courteous voice. Applicants will be required to answer phones, screen phone calls, make cold calls, take and distribute messages.
Customer Service Skills: Applicants must have an outgoing personality and must provide excellent customer service support - via incoming calls and email correspondence.
Computer Skills: Applicants must possess basic computer skills . You will process orders accurately, send BOLs and keep track of gross and net weights. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook is REQUIRED. You will oversee spreadsheets tracking inventory and carriers.
Required Clerical Skills: Applicants must know how to use general office equipment such as a copier, scanner, printer and fax machine. You will provide basic administrative and clerical support to all departments and assist the team when needed with responsibilities outside your area. Preferred prior experience in logistics coordination, nationwide.
