Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated, technically skilled Support and Engineering Technician with hands-on experience and an interest in car audio and automotive electronics.
This role combines technical support, product testing, prototyping, documentation, and vehicle installation work. You will work closely with our engineering team and customers to support, test, and improve our automotive integration products.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers and internal teams via phone, email, and chat
- Assist the engineering team with product development, testing, and validation
- Install and test automotive audio and infotainment integration products in vehicles
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and installation issues
- Write and maintain technical documentation, installation manuals, and knowledge base articles
- Create instructional videos demonstrating installation and product operation
- Test automotive interface modules and report bugs and issues to the engineering team
- Perform light soldering for prototyping, repair, and customization
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience installing car audio or automotive electronics
- Understanding of automotive electrical systems, wiring, and harnesses
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical documentation
- Basic soldering skills
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with: Windows, Android, iOS
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Experience with automotive infotainment systems
- Technical writing experience
- Understanding of audio fundamentals (impedance, power, crossovers, signal levels, sensitivity)
- Experience with video creation or editing
- Basic electronics knowledge (multimeter, oscilloscope use is a plus)
- ASE or MECP certification
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
