Job Introduction

Are you looking for a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic, high priority, and fast-growing portfolio of brands? Brands like Hendrick’s Gin, Tullamore D.E.W, Glenfiddich Whiskey, and Milagro Tequila! We are looking for a sales professional to support the Commercial Director in managing all channels in Nevada.

Main Responsibility

The Distributor Manager will own responsibility of their markets to maximize profitability through advanced pricing & programming skills; A & P investments & budget management; and long-term strategic development. The role oversees all activities through the distributor. The Distributor Manager will routinely analyse and report sales performance as well as evaluate competitive activity in the market. They will be responsible for conducting business reviews and identify momentum to build and/or close gaps in their assigned market.

They exude strong influencing skills and serve as a commercial partner to our distributors resulting in William Grant & Sons mindset of commercial execution. They are a trade influencer that provides education and training to other influential members of the trade. They show a positive commitment and ability to work and communicate productively with colleagues, a network of 3rd party partners, and coaches direct reports effectively. The salary range for this role, in Las Vegas, NV is $ 112,000 - 134,000.

Additional required skills and qualifications:

They will have a strong understanding of the alcohol beverage and spirits industry, with a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience; working on the supplier side will be highly valued.
A proven track record of developing working relationships and a strong business acumen; along with a demonstrated history of developing and mentoring talent within a team is necessary for this role.
Strong finance and budgeting background
Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills
Advanced influencing skills and distributor management capabilities
Effective problem-solving skills and good analysis skills
Ability to manage difficult, complex markets and achieve business objectives
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills including proficiency with formulas and data analysis is required
Excessive travel might be necessary, occasionally requiring air travel
Must have a valid driver’s license
Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred
