Full Job Description

Position Overview
This role primarily provides hands-on caregiving support on a PRN/as-needed basis to ensure residents receive consistent, high-quality care. When not performing direct care, the position provides limited scheduling support by helping maintain shift coverage and assisting with basic staffing coordination tasks.

Your Role:
As a Staffing Support Specialist, you will:

Provide direct resident care as needed, following care plans and facility standards.
Assist with maintaining caregiver schedules and filling open shifts when requested.
Support staff with routine communication, feedback, and adherence to policies.
Participate in paid after-hours on-call rotation when assigned.

Work Requirements

Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs., and work around common care-facility hazards (PPE provided).
Communicate professionally with residents, families, staff, and outside agencies.
Complete required training and obtain/maintain certifications (Medication Assistance, First Aid/CPR, Food Handler).
Must be 18+, pass background checks, and meet health requirements.
Basic computer skills and the ability to learn scheduling tools.
Able to work independently, adapt to changing needs, and problem-solve effectively.
