Company: Hanso Home
Location: Memphis, TN
Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor / Warehouse General Manager
Position Overview
Hanso Home is seeking a Warehouse Associate / Material Handler to support operations at our Memphis distribution facility. This is a hands-on warehouse role involving both forklift operation and manual material handling.
Our products include large outdoor structures and components, so team members should expect to work with long, bulky, and heavy items. Individual cartons typically weigh 50–200 lbs. Most heavy lifts are performed with team lifting and material handling equipment, but the role remains physically demanding and requires comfort working with larger products throughout the shift.
Candidates should be comfortable working both on equipment and on the warehouse floor, supporting inbound receiving, storage, order picking, staging, and outbound shipments.
Experience working with heavy, oversized, or non-standard freight is strongly preferred.

- Wrap, band, and label pallets according to shipping and carrier requirements.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas including docks, aisles, and staging zones.
- Assist with inventory counts and product verification.
- Safely operate forklifts, walkie riders, and other powered industrial equipment (pallet jacks, sit-down forklifts, etc.).
- Move, stage, and load palletized freight, including oversized and long pallet configurations.
- Assist with trailer loading and unloading, ensuring proper pallet placement and load securement.
Shipping & Receiving Support
- Assist with unloading inbound trucks and verifying quantities and product condition.
- Stage outbound freight by carrier and route.
- Support LTL and partial truckload shipments, including pallet preparation.
- Report damage, shortages, or discrepancies to supervisors.
Safety & Team Support
- Follow all OSHA and company safety policies.
- Use proper lifting techniques and PPE.
- Remain aware of forklift traffic and dock activity.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and teammates to meet daily goals.
- Be flexible and assist where needed based on warehouse workload.
Qualifications & Experience Required
- 2+ years of warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to perform hands-on material handling work throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working with large, heavy, and bulky products.
- Ability to team lift heavier items and work safely with warehouse equipment.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Willingness to work in a physically active environment.
Preferred
- Forklift experience (certification preferred but training available).
- Experience handling heavy or oversized freight.
- Experience with LTL shipping or dock operations.
- Familiarity with RF scanners or warehouse systems.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs independently and assist with team lifts up to 200 lbs.

Candidates should be in good physical condition and comfortable performing active, hands-on warehouse work.
