The US affiliate of DISCO Corporation, DISCO Hi-Tec America, Inc. (DHA), based in San Jose, CA, is currently seeking applicants to join its Massachusetts office as a Sales Engineer.
Title: Sales Engineer
Location: Andover, MA
Salary: 55k – 70k
This position will require over 75% travel. When not traveling, this position will be based in our MA office.
Overview:
The key responsibilities of the Sales Engineer position are to increase both sales of DISCO products and overall customer satisfaction by approaching and working with new and current customers to find suitable DISCO products and processes to fit their needs.
Essential Job Functions:
- Work with customers to ensure that their needs are met, including visiting customer sites to promote DISCO products, give product overviews, issue quotations, propose improvements.
- Provide application support in relation to DISCO consumables.
- Collect, Prepare, Analyze, Present Sales information, including sales call reports, meeting minutes, weekly reports, and more, to various stakeholders.
- Assist with Quarterly forecasting.
- Work with other departments in DHA as well as correspondences with HQ in Japan.
- Work with other members to innovate and contribute to future sales
- Become familiar with and handle some of DISCO’s in-house technological services and processes.
- Participate and contribute to DISCO corporate activities focusing on deeper thinking, value exchange, and constant improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to or otherwise move 15 pounds at a time.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor of Science degree in any discipline or,
- College degree from an accredited university with interest in sales and engineering functions is welcome.
