Full Job Description

Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Primary Therapist, where you will play a vital role in guiding individuals through their journey of recovery and personal growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity to deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, foster a supportive environment, and empower clients to achieve lasting change. As a key member of our clinical team, you will utilize your expertise to develop personalized treatment plans, facilitate engaging therapy sessions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to ensure comprehensive care. We are committed to providing a paid, fulfilling role that makes a meaningful difference in people's lives every day.

Duties

Provides primary therapy for individual caseload of residential clients
Provides initial and ongoing assessment, counseling and clinical intervention to a designated caseload
Provides group therapy for assigned groups
Participates in providing clinical support at mealtime with clients
Communicates with relevant internal and external care providers to complete on-going assessment and to coordinate care
Participates functionally as a member of an interdisciplinary team in coordination and delivery of client care
Provides individual, group, and family psychotherapy
Provides clinical support, as needed, to admission team for the timely completion of the initial clinical evaluations of new admissions and insurance pre-certifications when needed
Participates in clinical on-call rotation
Completes all required documentation in a timely and comprehensive manner per standards
Primary responsibility for client treatment plan, weekly treatment plan updates, and discharge summary for assigned clients
Documentation as required for clinical, human resources, & training needs
Provides clinical rationale to UR team as needed
Take on additional responsibilities as needed based on unique skillsets and programming, clinical, business and marketing needs of Haven of Hope

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related field
Licensed in the State of Tennessee or pursuing licensure while under supervision
Experience in working with eating disorders and trauma is required

Working conditions

Residential treatment services are 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year. Partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs are 6 days per week (Monday – Saturday) Employees can expect to work on nights, weekends and holidays depending upon specific job role and location.

Haven of Hope clients can be expected to have a severe trauma history, complicated by co-occurring conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other emotional and behavioral disorders. Prospective employees with a history of eating disorders, trauma or related conditions are advised to strongly consider the appropriateness of this work environment on personal mental health condition. All Haven of Hope prospective and current employees are advised to seek treatment from a qualified medical or behavioral health professional in the event of a history of mental illness.

As an eating disorders treatment facility, employees in client-facing roles can be expected to eat meals with clients. Employees in client-facing roles must be able to demonstrate a healthy relationship with food as demonstrated by conforming to Haven of Hopetreatment standards.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
