Join us at Imago Dei Learning Community where faith, curiosity, and purpose come together.
About Us:
At Imago Dei Learning Community (IDLC) we refer to our teachers as guides and our students as learners. Guides at IDLC invest in teaching youth HOW to learn rather than WHAT to learn in order to foster natural curiosity, promote adaptability, develop growth mindset/problem-solving skills, and to inspire a lifelong love of learning.
IDLC is a unique K-12 education model that is:
- Christ-Centered – Christ is the foundation of everything we do. Faith is integrated throughout all parts of our day.
- Learner-Driven – Learners take ownership of their learning through daily and weekly goal-setting and reflection, tracking their progress through all subject areas, and are provided with opportunities to use their voice and choice to shape their learning experiences.
- Flexible – We embrace “structure with freedom” to ensure that learning is purposeful and productive for all involved. Flexibility is applied in the areas of schedule, academics, tools/resources, and physical learning environment in order to honor and accommodate the unique qualities, abilities, interests, and challenges of each learner. Our flexible approach values both the learner and their family.
